We took our two dogs out for a nice long winter walk

It was cold, wet and muddy on our winter walk but the sun was shining too, which was lovely. We wrapped up warm and sorted the dogs before going….now that’s a carry on. We have two rescue dogs, Billy is calm although he does get very excited when he knows we are going out, Min is a crazy dog…and I mean crazy. She does not even know how to be calm, getting her harness on is like fighting with a tasmanian devil ha. We thought she might calm down as she got older – nope. Its really stressful taking her out because she gets way too excited and tends to misbehave…a lot. So I take Billy and my husband takes Min as she’s so hard to handle.

I took my new camera out with me too, and got some really nice shots that I’m pleased with. Then I learned how to put them all onto my laptop and then put all my photos onto the hard drive from the laptop, quite pleased with that – go me ha. I’m learning something new every day.
It was good to get out in the sunshine for some much needed vitamin D and fresh air plus the exercise.

Although it’s hard for me to go out anywhere due to my anxiety/panic disorder agoraphobia and the added stress from the crazy dog, I still managed to enjoy it plus felt proud of myself for going.
Getting out for a winter walk at least twenty mins a day is needed to boost your vitamin D
I found focusing on the positives helps a lot, like getting fresh air, sunshine, exercise and taking photos really lifts my spirits and makes me feel so much better. Keeping my mind occupied with taking photoes really does help to keep my anxiety down and I feel calmer which is great.
So I’m going to do that more often and try hard to get out more, especially when spring arrives. So fingers crossed I manage more outings this year.

Hope you like my photos? Do you enjoy nice long winter walks? Let me know in the comments.
