Indoor purifying plants that help to clean the air

All plants naturally absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, which is great but there are some more purifying plants that help remove toxic gases and harmful toxins from the air as well. A lot of the toxins come from chemicals in air fresheners and cleaning products.
Having indoor plants that help to purify the air is an added bonus especially in winter when we tend to keep the windows closed more. But its always best to open them now an then because you can’t beat real fresh air from the outside.

I love houseplants and have as many as I can, it brings nature inside, especially during winter when I can’t do much gardening. And I think they make a room look lovely.
