Take a pause for a moment in your day to simply enjoy the little things in life
Throughout your day, try and take a little pause for a moment to simply enjoy the little things in life that truly are the big things, the things that really matter.
Learn to just BE for a moment and slow down to notice all the lovely things you can see, smell, hear, taste, touch/feel.
Really use all your senses!
We all sometimes miss opportunities because we are too busy doing doing doing..
Spring is my favorite time of the year because I just love hearing the birds singing, the smell of freshly cut grass, seeing the buds on trees, flowers growing, blue skies and feeling the warm sunshine on my face. Those simple things I miss over winter, so I really do appreciate them in spring.
There is nothing better than blue skies and sunshine to lift the spirits
Pausing also keeps us in the here and now – not thinking about the past or worrying about the future just simply BEING in the NOW
Taking little pauses throughout your day helps your busy mind to rest for a minute, like a re-charge or re-set, which stops burnout. It decreases stress levels for a bit of calm.
Pauses help to bring clarity in those quiet moments and puts things into perspective.
Just enjoying the simple things that you appreciate will fill you with gratitude – a very good feeling in your heart.
When you are on your tea break, sit quietly and just enjoy the taste of your cuppa.
Go for an evening walk and just be quiet ( in your mind ) for a while and enjoy a sunset or wake up early look out your window and watch the sunrise.
Sit by a river, pond or the sea and just BE – enjoy the moment to yourself.
Sit out in your garden and enjoy the flowers, trees, listening to the birds, watching insects or butterflies fluttering by, look up to the sky and just watch the clouds move for a bit.
Enjoy the peace a pause can bring.
