Making natural beauty products at home
Why choose to make your own natural beauty products at home? When you can simply buy them.
Well because it’s relatively quick, easy, safe, cheap and kinder to your hair and skin – its much better for your health and wellbeing too because the chemicals contained in shop bought products, can be harmful and disrupt the balance of the hormones. If you are sensitive to chemicals, then homemade natural is for you.
Another bonus is, your skin absorbs the nutrients from the ingredients you use, so its nourishing.
How about that for self-care.
Making your own natural products its very cheap too which is a another bonus. You no doubt already have a lot of the ingredients in your kitchen cupboards and fridge.

There’s lots of different ingredients you can use from coconut oil, fruits, herbs, spices, olive oil, apple cider vinegar to essential oils – the list goes on..
Everyone’s skin and hair are different, so need different products – some have oily or acne-prone-skin, some have dry or eczema prone skin. Like the same with your hair, some are dry and some are oily.
So why not have a go at making your own beauty products, its fun and creative, like doing crafts. You can create your very own pamper stuff to suit you – your hair and skin type.
Remember our skin and hair change with the different seasons too so depending on the time of the year, you can make your products to suit.

I enjoy making my own, especially handmade soap, its fun and I know what the ingredients are, so I know exactly what I’m putting on my skin and hair.
I’m going to start making more and add them to my Etsy shop at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Littlewildfcreations

One of my friends makes her own goats milk soap with assorted essential oils and they are GORGEOUS, the most luxurious and skin-friendly soaps I’ve ever tried. Definitely a good case for natural beauty products!
Oh that sounds amazingšlet me know who she is, does she have a blog or shop?
