These are some of my favourite healthy balanced meals
I love to have my jacket potato ( carbohydrates) with dairy free spread ( good fats) dairy free cheese and good old baked beans ( protein)…yum!
Tip: If you don’t have veggies with your meal, you could have a fruit/veggie/berry smoothie or fruit salad for desert afterwards.

So I use a sunday dinner as a perfect example of a balanced meal and because it’s my favourite. Potatoes – ( carbohydrates) meat – ( protein) ( good fats) I love roasted potatoes and carrots…baked in olive oil….and vegetables.
I use: organic diced beef, onion Gravey, mashed potatos, carrots, cabbage and broccoli for this meal.
Half of the plate should be of vegetables, a quarter of the plate should be proteins and a quarter of the plate carbohydrates.
You also need to keep changing it up too. Do different meals every day, so you get a good variety of different foods regularly.
Pasta Bolognese: I make my own tomato sauce. Ingredients: Tin of tomatoes, tomato puree, onions..fried in olive oil ( good fats ) garlic, mixed herbs. ( veggies )
Quick, easy to make and healthy…oh and tastes delicious.
I use organic minced beef ( protein) and gluten free pasta( carbohydrates) for mine but you can use what ever you prefer.
Try to include foods from the main groups
Organic minced beef ( protein) onions.. fried in olive oil ( good fats) Gravey, potatoes (carbohydrates) carrots, broccoli ( veggies)
Change it to other meats like lamb or pork mince to suit you and veggies that you prefer.
