Easter time is usually a happy time.

Easter time is usually happy time for me because its springtime!
Usually I spend Easter with my family, my hubby has a nice long weekend off work and our family come round. We all get together to have a meal and stuff our faces with Easter eggs. My family come up from Stoke too some years…I was hoping they would this year.

If the weather’s nice and sunny, we usually have a barbeque on one of the days, and if it’s hot we get the paddling pool out for the kids….and us BIG kids ha…great fun.
We usually do an Easter egg hunt for our grandkids in the garden every year..that’s fun too.

BUT this year is different….very different.
We won’t be able to get together and this makes me feel so sad. The corona virus is keeping us all apart.
This is bringing up all kinds of emotions, I worry about my family…it’s a sad and scary time for everyone. So many things are uncertain, causing so much anxiety.
This time will not be forgotten.
I’m missing my family so much, its been nearly three weeks since I last saw them and think it’s going to be a while yet until we will be able to get together.
I really hope it’s not too long. Fingers crossed we don’t have to miss our youngest grandsons first birthday in May – we will be gutted if we do. We’re going to miss his first Easter by the look of things as it is.

We will have a HUGE celebration when all this is over, to make up for lost time.
Anyway the main thing is..my family are at home and safe.
All we can do is our best right now, and try to enjoy the time at home.
Stay home and safe for now

So how do you usually spend your Easter time? And how will you be spending this Easter?
