I love crafting from the flowers I’ve grown and from nature
I have really enjoyed growing flowers from seeds in my little greenhouse this year, I’ve had loads to water and enjoy all summer.
Gardening is so relaxing and peaceful, I find it very therapeutic. All that vitamin D from the sunshine too is very healthy.
My beautiful grandkids sent me some sunflowers over the lock down time, that they grew from seeds. Bless them. The flowers grew really well, I was over the moon with them. Once they started to die off, I decided to keep the heads and dry them out, I saved the seeds for next year, how’s that for re-cycling!
As all the other flowers in the garden started to die off I thought..Hmm it seems such a waste, what could I do to preserve them?
Dried pressed flowers! That’s when I started collecting, drying and pressing all the flowers. I started pressing with books ( I have a lot ) my hubby then decided to make me a handmade flower press, which is fab!
Pinterest is great for creative ideas so I’ve been looking there for inspiration for my crafts.

Once I started crafting, I found I really enjoyed it and found another thing thats very therapeutic, the more I do, the better it gets. I could literally spend all my time crafting. Its so calming and peaceful, I forget about life/the worlds problems for a while and just focus on crafting. Its a sort of meditation or mindfulness practice.
I also love going shopping for craft supplies, its so much fun. I’ve collected quite a bit of stuff over the past few weeks.
I now have an office and craft room in our spare room, I’m spending quite a lot of time there now.
My crafting skills are far from perfect but I’m sure I’ll get better with time..practice makes perfect! as they say.
Once I’d made loads of frames, cards, bookmarks,plaques..ect..I decided I needed a little gift shop to sell all my creations. So I set one up on Etsy..thats when www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Littlewildfcreations was born.

Here is a few of my creations.
I hope you’ll come over and have a little look at my new shop at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Littlewildfcreations
