I’m passionate about nature, I love all things natural♡
I really enjoy gardening , crafts ( I enjoy crafting using the flowers I’ve grown and nature ) and sell them in my little Etsy shop here http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Littlewildfcreations, walking or bike riding in the countryside, dog walking, by the sea or through a forest/woods, nature photography, creating natural soap & beauty, listening to music, reading books ( I’m a right bookworm ) creating my blog, writing poems, pets – we have two dogs & a kitty ( my baby ) and living a natural life style🌿
I always turn to nature for therapy & remedies: Nutrition, herbs/herbal tea’s, aromatherapy, flower essence, crystal healing & spiritual healing – nature therapy🌿
Why do I blog about all things natural? how did it all start?
My early years started out with lots of trauma, from childhood to my early 20s. My biggest and hardest blow was when my Mum died in 2001
I was left broken beyond belief and my life was destroyed – as I knew it.
This started me off onto a whole new path in life – I’m not going to lie, this journey has been so hard and painful, and to be honest, pretty horrendous
I suffered chronic fatigue syndrome, Premenstrual dysphoric disorder ( pmdd ) anxiety/panic disorders and depression. I later learned all those conditions are symptoms of Complex post traumatic disorder ( C-ptsd )
Finally got to the root cause of all my issues
Finally! I got to the root of all my issues – trauma, then made a start on healing the root causes rather than trying to “fix” the symptoms
On this journey of learning, growing, healing and discovering – looking back ( to see how far I have come ) I really have come a very long way ( although I know I’ve a long way to go )
I was very unwell in the beginning, for a few years with the chronic fatigue, I could barely get out of bed, I was so weak and seriously under weight and malnutrition ( my anxiety was so bad I couldn’t eat )
Of course I started on the conventional path – Doctors, medications, counsellors etc… those didn’t help me. I am very highly sensitive to medications or any artificial chemicals, so natural remedies suit me
I had to help myself if I wanted to feel better again
I had to start turning my life around, step by step – one day at a time.
I studied nutrition in 2006 and got my diploma in nutritional therapy – this put me onto a path of holistic health, a whole new way of living. I self-studied herbs/herbal teas, aromatherapy, crystal healing, spirituality – whole health – mind body spirit.
I’m now up to a much healthier weight and have so much more strength and energy from a healthy diet & lifestyle – I even have enough energy and strength to ride my bike again, which is wonderful. I really enjoy bike riding and I’m slowly building up my fitness. Therapy has helped a lot with mental and emotional, but all in all it has been a mixture of the whole lifestyle change, especially changing my bad habits to good habits that has transformed my life.
I do still struggle with my nerves and emotions but it’s no where near as extreme as before. I don’t think any of us have a “perfect ” life but I believe we can make it a lot better, healthier and happier…we will always be learning, growing and healing throughout our lives, even when we are old(er).
Along the way I have learned a lot about myself, who I really am and what my passions are and what I really want in life now.
I want to help and inspire others
I now realize that I want to help others to live their best life – a more natural healthier life, to discover who they really are and what they really want in life. To become the best versions of themselves and live a life they love – what could be more rewarding than that?
I’m turning my life around and totally transforming it for the better and becoming the best version of myself, if I can do it, I know you can too.
